…about Carol's workshops?

EXCELLENT - if she came back, I'd let many of my friends know so they could come. -- Pennsylvania CHAP attendee

Wonderful! A sister who knows...thank you! -- Gayle E.

Wow! Just what I needed. I cried over concept of prodigal child and how I see my kids. Homeschooled 12 years, been to at least 15 conventions -- one of the best messages for ME.

Worth the trip from Hawaii. Thanks! --Martha

My 14 year old son wishes I had heard this seminar 10 years ago. Please pray with me that God will help me redeem the years I have left with him. -- Paula D.

YOU BLEW US AWAY! Thank you! This info is precisely what I hoped to gain at this conference. My sons and I will be continually grateful! -- Elizabeth H.

Thanks for the encouragement --helps me fall in love with my kids again. -- Karen S.

She is absolutely excellent and I will order every one of her sessions on tape to listen to over and over again. Her honesty about her own past and her struggles with her son were the best! Thank you for bringing her to the conference. --Lisa P.

This is the most helpful workshop I've been to in my many years of conference attending --- Attendee at State conference

I just returned home from the convention in Peoria to rush to my computer and email you! I just wanted to thank you for your wonderful classes! It was so refreshing to hear your perspective and get some solid direction!! I am so grateful to God for leading us to your classes. Thank you for your heart and your time! -- Jill R.

This is the most life changing seminar I attended this weekend! -- Attendee at State conference

Thank you again for being a voice of reason in a maddening and frustrating world. Regards, Susan P.

Carol was a WONDERFUL speaker! I went to 3 of her workshops. She gave so many neat teaching ideas. She really encouraged me to accept my kids as God made them and to enjoy teaching and make school fun! -- Jenny G.

…about Carol's Book (How To Get Your Child Off the Refrigerator and On To Learning)?

This book is the best book of how to homeschool I have ever read. Its humorous, not preachy, and you come away with MANY MANY ideas about how to make homeschooling work for you and your child (ren). I cannot recommend this book highly enough. I like it so much its now on my "not to be loaned out" list!

Prior to reading your book I had just about given up on information about teaching my ADHD/TS kids at home. I feel like you have been at my house and have just given me a huge hug after witnessing the attempts I make at schooling my boys. I recommended your book to many friends both for your practical helps and for your encouraging words. - Kelly C.

Dear Carol,
I just want to thank you so much for your website and book. I have a 10 year old son diagnosed ADD (no "H" in there, thank goodness) and was so excited to get some good, practical advice about how to teach these kids. True to your observations, the first two manipulative ideas I tried didn't connect with him at all, although he did try them. The third was such a resounding success that he got a perfect score on the retest. His teacher was amazed! I was too, I must admit. My son's teachers are to be commended for their attitude in teaching him and similar children. I met with them just yesterday and they were very receptive to your book (they are ordering at least one copy for their own use)
Thanks again, Carol, for your work and God bless your teaching efforts and your family. Sincerely, Susan S.

…about Carol's Corner website - Tips for Teaching ADHD & highly distractible children?

I homeschool our now 9 1/2 year-old "high voltage" son.   I wanted to say to you how happy I was to literally stumble onto an article regarding "Ten Teaching Tips for Teaching ADHD children."   Our son has never been "labeled" (professionally) as being ADHD, but well, let's just say that when it quacks like a duck and walks like a duck (and runs, and climbs and jumps like a duck) .... well can recognize what you are dealing with.  The thing that most caught my attention about your "teaching tips" was that as I read them, I said to myself, "Who is this woman, and when has she been peeking in our windows?". I loved finding a "kindred creative spirit" in dealing with children such as mine.  Geneva B.

I just finished reading your top 10 teaching tips.  When you explained your child at the end and described his endless energy as a gift it touched my heart.  I sobbed as I was reading your article because you were describing my sweet son.  I will try these things.  Just knowing that someone out there understands first hand how special children gives me great comfort.  Bonnie S.

I just found your web page and am so excited to try some of your ideas. I have been looking for useful info I can use immediately and your site has provided that. I can't wait to implement your ideas. Thanks so much for the info and encouragement. Also, having him home with me has really helped me to see the potential that he has and what a special blessing I have in him.
Sincerely, Michelle

Carol, I attended a conference you spoke at in Utah -last March. I
purchased your book. Every idea I have tried, has been an incredible success with my son. Thank you so much.
--Shelly

I kept clicking on links till I got to your website. I am glad to see another mother who "threw out the standard" ideas and went with what works for her own child. In my case, that is five different ways for five different children. I am eager to get your book. Keep up the good work, and thank you for taking time away from your family to help others. Cordially, Tiffany R.

I wanted to let you know how exciting the information on your website is. I am an Associate Behavior Analyst in Florida. It is so exciting to hear the usable and effective techniques that you have to reinforce the learning in children with ADHD. Often people focus on the permanent product (writing the math problems) instead of the ultimate learning of the subject matter.

Thank you for getting this wonderful information out there. I'm sure you have helped many parents and families effectively help their children learn.  I will definitely recommend your site to parents of children with ADD/ADHD, that I work with. Sincerely, Andrea M.

Thank you so much for posting this information on the net. I have searched "High and Low" to find some answers/help to my perceived dilemma with my hyperactive child. I started feeling as if there was no hope for him. Finally you are the answer to my prayers. I am going to make it a point to starting using your tactics tomorrow.  Thank you sooo much, Mrs. W.

I came to your web page in search for help you are the first one I've read and I want to email you before I go to any other, because I have a great sense of relief tears are in my eyes and a peace is in my heart. God has used you and the web page. Well I just want to thank you so much and let you know you helped me. Carmen C.

I am a mental health clinician and I have found your web site to be highly informative with regards to assisting children with ADHD. I credit you for all of your wonderful suggestions and strategies. I find them highly successful. I have placed some of your techniques into action with the counselors that I supervise and they have in turn used these techniques with their clients. Thanks for all of the wonderful information. - T. B.

Dear Carol, I have just read your tips and they are like a breath of fresh air! - Mrs. Helene J., from Birmingham, UK

I tried a couple of your ideas and they have worked out wonderfully. We both enjoy home schooling now. My son actually asks if we can school on the weekends too. Thanks to you and your wonderful ideas we have decided to home school again this year. - Mary C.
